LA INTERVENCIÓN ESTATAL EN LAS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS CULTURALES. UN DEBATE SIGNIFICATIVO PARA AMÉRICA LATINA

Abstract

This article propose to review some concepts regarding cultural public policies, taking into consideration the assigned role that the State has in its orientation and implementation. I will particularly address the topic of the built heritage in the context of cultural rights, based on research with anthropological approach that was conducted in Buenos Aires, in which I analyzed the cultural management leaded by the different administrations between 2000 and 2010.
I find meaningful to reflect about public policies oriented to expand the rights of the citizenship as part of the changes in this direction that are taking place in the last decade in some countries of our region.
